CSI

The CSI: Crime Scene Investigation slot machine, like the television program on which it is based, was undoubtedly fantastic in the early 2000s, but it is showing signs of wear today. The somewhat lower than average return on investment (RTI) of 95.13 percent does not make up for this.

Theme and plot of the story

There were 15 seasons of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, which resulted in three spin-offs. The slot machine makes use of the characters from the latter seasons of the show, in which Ted Danson plays the main character.

As you play, you may gather evidence that will allow you to participate in additional rounds, while also earning winnings from the faces of well-known figures.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

After an initial non-copyright infringing The Who-like sting, the game transitions into an evocative techno soundtrack that propels the player ahead. Visually, the whole slot is given the same early 2000s futuristic computer atmosphere that the program has always had throughout its run.

Unfortunately, that mood now seems to be clunky and out of date; nothing dates more quickly than being on the leading edge of fashion.

Overall, though, the design is not too dreadfully bad.

Gameplay

The game is a five-reel, twenty-payline slot that is more or less clear in its gameplay. To break things up, there are a few of basic bonus symbols (more on them later).

Unfortunately, this type of play is a little too straightforward to be really engaging. This is made all the more depressing by CSI’s glitzy layout, which promises that there may be more bells and whistles in the future.

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

In the CSI slot machine, there are four bonus symbols to look out for.

To get free spins, you must hit the CSI logo three or more times (5 spins for 3 symbols, 10 for 4 symbols, and 30 for 5 symbols). If you have gathered any of the Evidence symbols throughout the bonus round, you will be able to double all of your winnings.

Evidence symbols are available in four different varieties: blood, bullet, shoeprint, and fiber. In the event that you acquire three or more Crime Scene symbols on adjacent reels, you may begin collecting Evidence (and collecting a payout). If you collect all four Evidence symbols, you will be awarded a jackpot of 400 times your line bet.

When you strike one of the Lock’n’Respin symbols, the Lock’n’Respin feature is activated. Any winning symbols will be locked in place while the remaining symbols are respun to create more winning combinations.

The Stokes symbol operates as a Wild card, replacing all other symbols with the exception of the bonus symbols indicated above.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

The return to player (RTP) on this game varies according on how many lines you play, starting at 94.84 percent for playing five win-lines and up to 95.13 percent for playing 20 win-lines at the highest. It should be noted that the return to player percentages are not clearly predictable, with a single win-line yielding a little higher return (94.89 percent) than five win-lines.

This is a poor return on investment, and the fact that there is almost no information available about the volatility of the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation slot makes it difficult to suggest it.

A large variety of stake sizes is available in the game, which may be of interest to certain players. With bets starting from £/$/€0.10 each spin up to £/$/€100.00 per spin, the possibilities are endless.

Conclusions

CSI is a fairly vintage video slot with a number of great extra features, but they aren’t enough to distinguish the game from the crowd.

The poor return on investment (RTI) and unpredictability of the game do not enable it to establish its argument.

We do not suggest the use of CSI.
