Dolphin Treasure is the subject of this review.

Theme and plot of the story

The term “theme” may be overstated in terms of the cohesiveness of Dolphin’s Treasure’s concepts.

Underwater settings and marine animals adorn the reels of this underwater-themed game from Microgaming. In actuality, there are no dolphins on the reels, and the treasure in question only appears as the highest paying symbol on a very infrequent basis.

As far as underwater slots go, it doesn’t do anything to earn its crustaceans by standing out, having personality, or making the scene its own, which is a pity since it has a lot to offer.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

The almost hilariously little amount of work that put into the concept is reflected in the design aspects. The visuals are mediocre, as though they were churned out by Aristocrat’s artists on a very bad day.

While the animations are mostly copied from other low-end reskins from the Aristocrat stable, when the music isn’t muffled out by more copy-paste work on the win and spin noises, it becomes tiresome when played on repeat.

Gameplay

The game’s mechanics are really straightforward. The fundamental game consists of a five-reel, three-row slot machine with twenty paylines in total.

You won’t find a gamble feature, any extra features in the primary game, or anything other than a straightforward free spin bonus game (details below).

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

The Wild symbol may be used to replace any other symbol with the exception of the Scatter symbol. Anywhere on the reels, three or more Scatter symbols will activate fifteen free spins for you.

During the free spins round, all winnings are multiplied by three. During the free spins round, the free spins bonus may be re-triggered one more. This does not add much variety to the gameplay, but it does cover the fundamentals.

This is all very ordinary stuff for a low-end slot of this caliber and price range.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

The return to player for this game is 94.88 percent, which is much lower than our benchmark of around 96 percent for the average.

The range of bets available on the site we tested ranged from a minimum bet per spin of $1.00 if the player is playing all 20 lines – which works out to $/£/€0.05 per line – to a maximum wager per spin of $/£/€100.00 if the player is playing just one line at a time.

The volatility of this game is minimal, which makes it a terrible fit for our favorite slot machine methods, particularly when combined with the poor return on investment (RTI). Our slot techniques are designed to provide the greatest amount of volatility feasible.

Conclusion

A slot machine with a lackluster gameplay and an unappealing appearance should make an attempt to entice the player with a good return to player percentage or an attractive bonus feature.

As an alternative, Dolphin’s Treasure adds insult to injury by adding a poor return on investment (RTI) on top of subpar gameplay aspects.

This is a time period that we do not suggest.
