Dolphin’s Pearl

Dolphins Pearl is a slot that is not only uninteresting to look at, but it is also uninteresting to play, and it has a relatively low return to player (RTP) of 95.13 percent. It is not the worst slot we've played, but it is also not particularly excellent. I suppose it is not always preferable to be down in the drier climes.

Review of the Dolphin’s Pearl

Theme and plot of the story

Dolphin’s Pearl is the story of an adventurous dolphin and its motley gang of marine life buddies as they go on a quest to find hidden riches under the water. You get to go on a treasure hunt with the dolphin, searching for the pearls of the title and picking up the odd currency here and there along the way as you go.

In addition to the undersea ace to nine symbols, the characters are all portrayed in a pretty dull manner, and the light blue backdrop does not provide for the most visually appealing interpretation of the ocean-going motif.

The dolphin, on the other hand, is rather adorable.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

The aesthetics of Dolphin’s Pearl Age are more or less what you would expect from a Novomatic slot of this ilk, and the symbols are a bit of a letdown in terms of digital art quality.

This slot also incorporates elements from a number of other Novomatic games that were, like this one, essentially reskinned copies of the original Book of Ra slot. These elements include the noises, buttons, and reel animations.

Even while the images and music are not overtly objectionable, they are far from appealing.

Gameplay

The game is played on a five-reel basis with nine win lines, each of which may be played with any amount of coins.

There is a black and red gamble feature that allows you to play for double or nothing on your winnings, as well as some basic bonus and free spin features to enjoy.

It is possible to win up to 500 times your stake every spin by using the gamble function while betting all lines on a single spin.

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

Dolphin’s Pearl has two rare symbols that are not seen anywhere else.

In the first place there is the Scatter symbol, which pays out between two times your bet each spin if you hit two of them and up to 500 times your stake if you strike five Scatter symbols in a row.

When you win with three or more Scatter symbols, you will also be awarded fifteen free spins, with your earnings during those free spins being multiplied by three times.

The second sign is the Wild dolphin symbol, which may substitute for any other symbol except the Scatter and increases the multiplier of any winning lines that are included by two times when it does so.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

The return to player rate of 95.13 percent is considered to be poor (although a common benchmark for Novomatic slots on this particular design).

The game does have a significant degree of unpredictability. To be in with a chance of winning large, you’ll need to hit the free spins bonus, which is fairly difficult to come by.

When we attempted to play, the website we used permitted a minimum stake of $0.04 (or £0.04) and a maximum bet of $90.00 (or £90.00) per spin.

Conclusion

Dolphins Pearls is a completely mediocre album. Despite the fact that no one element is particularly bad, the game as a whole is dull and below average. The return to player (RTP) is lower than the industry average of roughly 96 percent, the visuals are dated, and the soundtrack is lifted from other Novomatic slots.

The only thing that jumps out is the very high volatility; the rest is quite underwhelming.
