Review of the Hoot Loot game

Theme and plot of the story

This slot machine is based on the theme of quirky woodland creatures.

Players will be in the company of a variety of animal companions, ranging from a sleepy-looking porcupine to a friendly moose, in this game set in a gloomy woodland.

Other emblems include luminous mushrooms, paw prints, and – of course – the Hoot Loot’s endearing owl eyes, which are a favorite of many. The animals’ demeanor is impish, as though they aren’t quite sure what to say when they are asked how to get out of the forest on their own.

The atmosphere will remind players of classic children’s cartoons, and they’ll want to be in a playful frame of mind in order to really enjoy the game.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

A succession of upbeat sounds plays in the background while the reels spin. The moment a player wins, a sequence of wacky cartoon sound effects zings through the room. The soundtrack fits the subject well, however players who aren’t in the mood for sweet music may want to dial the volume down a little.

The manner of the cartoon animals’ animation is reminiscent to the style ofLooney Tunes. With bulging eyes and impish expressions, they seem good natured and silly.

Throughout the game, players will get the impression that they are in the middle of a forest thanks to the evergreen trees that surround the reels. The starry sky overhead creates a joyful atmosphere, as if everyone had stayed up a bit later than they should have.

Gameplay

Featuring five reels and three rows of symbols, Hoot Loot has a total of twenty paylines.

The gameplay is pretty traditional, and gamers will find exactly what they are looking for, with the exception of a few added features (see below).

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

The Wild symbol may be used to replace any other symbol with the exception of the Scatter symbol.

The Scatter symbol appears exclusively on the first, third, and fifth reels.

The Hoo’s Safe Bonus is activated by the Scatter sign, which is also a wild symbol. During this function, players have the option of selecting a Scatter symbol, which will disclose a prize. Every payout will be between 5 and 25 times the amount of the player’s initial stake. When there are no more selections available, the feature comes to an end.

At the conclusion of the features, players are rewarded the win total of the credits provided.

The Hoot Line Feature is a bonus payline that is distinct from the rest of the game. It is made up of Hoot Line symbols, which may appear anywhere on the reels and pay out in any combination (from left to right).

The Hoot Line Multiplier (x22) is applied to all Hoot Line winnings as well as the bet per line totals during the game.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

The return to player for this game is 95 percent, which is much lower than our yardstick for average, which is about 96 percent.

During our testing, the site offered a variety of stakes that started at a minimum of $0.20 and went as high as $400 (USD/£/€400) for a single spin.

Our recommended slot machine techniques do not work well with this game because of its medium level of volatility. Our slot methods are designed to target games with the greatest potential volatility as well as games with the biggest possible return on investment.

Conclusion

We do not suggest this low-return, medium-volatility woodland animal-themed slot with a poor return to player. Its return on investment (ROI) is just too poor for this game to be recommended.

Despite their cuteness, the cartoon animals in this game are unable to compensate for the game’s weak tactical statistics.
