Joan of Arc – Joan of Arc is a visually appealing medieval slot machine based on a heroic character from French history that should be simple to market. However, with no reported return to player (RTP), medium volatility, and restricted features, Joan of Arc falls short of expectations.

Review of Joan of Arc
Theme and plot of the story
Theme and plot of the storyNow the flames they followed Joan of Arc
As she came riding through the dark;
No moon to keep her armour bright,
No man to get her through this very smoky night.
She said, ‘I’m tired of the war,
I want the kind of work I had before.’ – Joan of Arc, by Leonard Cohen.
The kind of work she did before her death, or even the type of work she did after her death, which led to her canonization as a Saint of the Catholic Church, may no longer be available to her. Where she previously served as a military counselor and commander to the French during the Hundred Years War, she now serves as the treasury in GameArt’s Joan of Arc slot machine, which was released earlier this year.
You’ll need to land her symbol if you want to take advantage of the game’s most lucrative prizes.
Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.
The medieval scenario is brought to life with a field of combat in the backdrop and chainmail backgrounds on some of the symbols, which add to the overall pleasing appearance. The artwork is well drawn, and it is combined with good reel and victory animations to provide a visually engaging experience throughout the game.
The music, too, is well calibrated, creating the atmosphere and remaining true to the subject without being intrusive or obnoxious as it cycles over and over again in the background.
Despite the fact that it is a five-reel slot with 243 paylines, the action is very leisurely, with winnings occurring only on rare occasions. The bonus rounds, which are explained in further detail below, are where the actual action takes place.
If you want to increase the volatility of your game while also adding a little variety to it, you may use the gamble function.
Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.
There are two key additional features to take advantage of. The first is triggered by the Scatter symbol, which appears when three or more of them appear in a row. In addition to collecting a reward for landing on the Scatter symbol, you will also be awarded 10 free spins.
The second bonus feature involves the ‘Arrow Border’ symbols. These are the same as the ordinary symbols, except that the backdrop and border have been modified. When these Arrow Symbols are part of a winning combination they then expand to fill the reel they are in. The expansion divides each symbol in such a way that, for the purposes of calculating winning combinations, the original symbol stays in play with the enlarged symbol immediately next to it (see image below).
During the free spins, any Arrow Border symbol, regardless of whether it is part of a winning combination, increases in size.
There is also a Wild symbol in the game, which may be used to substitute for any other sign in the game except for the Scatter symbol.
Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance
Because the RTP of this game has not been disclosed, it is difficult to determine if it is worth your time to play or not just on the vig. When it comes to slots, caution would advise that you avoid those that are hesitant to share their basic information in this manner.
The game has a medium level of volatility, which does not lend itself well to the techniques we like to use.
We found that the lowest bet on the site was €/£/$0.30 per spin and the highest wager was €/£/$150.00 per spin when we tried it. Except for the lowest of bankrolls, this should cover all of them.
Joan of Arc suffers from two main flaws, despite the fact that it is aesthetically appealing and well-made.
The first major issue is that it has inadequate or non-existent statistics: the return on investment (RTI) is not provided, and the variance is quite middle of the road.
The second issue is that the gameplay is a little uninspired, with just the most basic capabilities to support the stunning aesthetics on offer.
This is a game that we do not suggest.
