Review of Juicy Reels
Theme and Storyline
Juicy Reels is a variation on the traditional fruit machine idea that is both entertaining and educational. Literally.
In contrast to the majority of fruit machine-style games, which use a single win line and three reel configuration to replicate the one-armed bandits of the classic Las Vegas period, Juicy Reels takes the opposite approach, rapidly expanding the number of reels and win lines available.
There are six reels and twenty pay lines, as well as – as with many other Wazdan products – the ability to change the game’s volatility. The game is available in both English and Spanish.
Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.
In addition, the visuals are a bit more elaborate than those seen in more basic variants of the fruit machine. A kaleidoscopic rainbow of shifting colors serves as the backdrop for all of the symbols, which are all created with a little extra flair.
The animations are all rather smooth, and the sound effects are effective. Despite the fact that the background music is a very dull piece of pseudo-80s synth-pop that sounds like it was composed for the sound system of an office elevator.
It is by no means an aesthetically mediocre piece, but it is also quite generic and not really fascinating.
Gameplay
Juicy Reels is a six-reel slot with twenty paylines, and there isn’t much more about it that distinguishes it from the plethora of other slot machines available on the market.
It contains a somewhat rudimentary gamble function, which enables players to choose between the conventional double-or-nothing option and an aesthetically redesigned version of the usual double-or-nothing option. The rest of the game is identical to any other slot machine.
Aside from that, the bonuses and special symbols are likewise very basic. It seems as if the whole theme of this slot machine revolves on making all of the most basic, middle of the road decisions imaginable.
Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.
There is a Wild symbol that may substitute for any other symbol in the game except for the Scatters. It is also the highest paying single line symbol if you manage to land three or more of them from left to right on a winning pay line in the game.
The Scatter also pays out pretty well, but the actual purpose to land the Scatters is for the Free Spins, which may be won by landing three or more symbols and can be won by landing six or more symbols. Winnings gained during the Free Spins round are doubled by three.
Free spins may be re-activated at any time.
Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance
This game has a return to player percentage of 96.49 percent.
Our testing site had a minimum wager per spin of $0.20 and a maximum wager per spin of $/£/€100.00, with a minimum wager of $/£/€0.20 and a maximum wager of $/£/€100.00.
The volatility of this game may be adjusted, with high, medium, and low varieties available. These variants are formed by varying the frequency of the different symbols on the reels.
Conclusion
Overall, this game does nothing to win the hearts and minds of its players. Everything about it is on the ordinary side of things. Not bad, but not outstanding.
Although the adjustable volatility was the sole element that caused us to sit up and take notice, that option can be found on any of the better designed games in Wazdan’s game library.
In general, we would not suggest this one to anybody.
