Pharaoh’s Fortune

A straightforward slot game with good tempo, but with overcomplicated payout rules and an unpleasant music as a drawback. A medium to high volatility game, thanks to the limited number of winlines (only fifteen) and the possibility of large bonus winnings, but due to the poor return to player (RTP) and other problems, it is difficult to suggest this game.

Review of the Pharaoh’s Fortune

Theme and plot of the story

Pharaoh’s Fortune is a slot machine that was released in 2014 and is based on the live casino slot game of the same name. It is centered on the combined themes of ancient Egyptian artifacts and disco, which makes for an unusual mix that doesn’t work nearly as well as you would expect.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

In keeping with the disco portion of the theme, the visuals are a little tacky, and the sand brown backdrops may become a little repetitive. However, the symbols are generally well-designed, and the animation is seamless for the most part.

The sound design, on the other hand, is a source of irritation. The primary win-noise is the same riff from a disco-reggae song, which plays again and over until you reach the bonus round, when you are forced to listen to the whole song in its entirety (as opposed to just the first few bars).

Also out of place and unpleasant is the computer-generated American voice that shouts Bonus and Pharaoh at the right points throughout the game. This is one of the slots that performs best when played on silent.

Gameplay

The gameplay is fairly straightforward. You win if you land on any of the fifteen paylines that are shown on the five-reel slot machine. Scatter symbols and bonus spins are discussed in further detail below.

However, despite the straightforward gameplay, the payout method in Pharaoh’s Fortune is too complex and time-consuming. However, although the primary game retains its traditional payout structure, the bonus rounds have been altered significantly, with multipliers, bonus spins, and shifting winlines among the many restrictions that have been imposed.

As a consequence, if you don’t check the payment pages on a frequent basis, understanding what you’re searching for on each line becomes quite difficult.

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

There are Scatter symbols with a scarab beetle on which have lower multiples (2x for two symbols up to 50x for five) but affect the total bet. As a result, if you wager one coin on each of the 15 lines, you would earn a total of 30 coins if you got two Scatter symbols on the reels.

It is not necessary for scatter symbols to appear on the same winline in order for them to pay out.

Free spins are awarded when three Bonus symbols (which appear in two colors and with slightly different rules in order to cause the greatest amount of confusion) appear on a single winline. However, here is when the action truly begins, as it is during the bonus rounds that you will have the opportunity to win large money.

It also includes a fun small block selection game that decides your multipliers and the number of spins you get, which is a pleasant change of pace from the main game.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

Rewards on a five-reel slot machine are uncommon because of the limited amount of paylines available, but the bonus system provides the opportunity for enormous payouts (as does the possibility of the 10, 000x maximum payout without bonuses). When these characteristics are combined, the result is a game with a high degree of variation.

Take advantage of this variation by placing bets ranging from 1 coin each line (15 coins total) up to 100 coins per line, depending on your preference. At the site where we tested it, this ranged from £0.15 per spin to £15.00 per spin in practice.

That implies that if you get five Pharaoh’s Fortune symbols on a winning spin, you may transform your $/€/£15 into $/€/£10, 000. (though this will of course be very rare and you can win much more if you hit wins on other winlines in the same spin).

The average return on investment (RTI) is 95 percent, which is somewhat lower than the industry average of 96 percent.

Conclusion

While the design is decent enough, the sound issues detract from the overall experience, and the overly convoluted payout mechanism makes it tough to get emotionally engaged in your plays. The poor return on investment (RTI) is also a turn-off.

The superb pace and diversity, as well as the possibility for large victories, are the game’s primary selling factors; nevertheless, they do not exceed the discomfort caused by the soundtrack, the poor return to player (RTP), and the sometimes perplexing play.
