Review of Reel King

Theme and plot of the story

Putting out the notion that Reel King has a theme or plot seems a bit of a stretch at this point. This slot machine does have the standard assortment of fruit machine icons. And it makes an attempt to distinguish itself from the crowd by emphasizing the regal theme. However, in actuality, the game functions mostly as another fruit machine slot machine.

That isn’t inherently a terrible thing, although it is a little rudimentary in nature. When the Reel King finally makes an appearance, he doesn’t seem to be utterly out of place. However, when it comes to gimmicks, you can’t help but wonder whether the creators might have come up with something a bit more inventive to play with.

It’s easiest to think of this as a straightforward fruit machine with a slight spin on it.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

Despite the blue fleur-de-lis backdrop, which is a historical emblem of the French monarchy, the majority of the images in this slot are quite basic in their design and placement. The symbols include the traditional Aces through Tens, as well as other fruits such as cherries and plums, among others.

Sound effects based on basic fruit machines have been created, but they are a little milder and have a more comfortable and welcoming feel to them. There is no background music, just the noises of the winning and spinning reels.

Aside from the Reel King himself, who is 3D rendered and lowers down in front of an animated tapestry, the animations are all rather basic, if you look closely.

Gameplay

Reel King is a three-row, five-reel slot machine with three rows of symbols. It features a maximum of twenty paylines, which is quite a lot. Players have the option of changing this to any number between one and twenty.

There is a gamble option in which the player may choose to double or lose all of his or her earnings from a certain spin. This game, on the other hand, is remarkably opaque, with the player just having to press a button to find out if they have won or lost. The illusion of choice, as in choosing between red and black, is absolutely missing in this case.

Overall, the gameplay is enjoyable, albeit a little repetitive.

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

The Wild symbol may be used in place of any other symbol in the game.

Rather of being triggered by a specific symbol, the bonus game is activated at random. During the feature, the player is awarded a number of free spins, each of which pays off when the Seven symbol appears in a winning combination. Landing a combination with any symbol other than the Seven symbol brings the feature to an end.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

The return to player for this game is 94.00 percent, which is much lower than our benchmark of about 96 percent for the average. This slot’s performance is so poor that it almost immediately disqualifies it from consideration for a recommendation.

There was a wide selection of wagers available on the site we tested, ranging from a minimum bet per spin of $0.10 to a maximum stake per spin of $/£/€10.00. This is an unusually narrow price range. Players who want to place a larger wager will have to go elsewhere for their wagering choices.

Our recommended slot machine techniques do not work well with this game because of its medium level of volatility. Our slot techniques are designed to provide the greatest amount of volatility feasible. Medium just isn’t good enough in our opinion.

Conclusion

The extremely low return on investment (RTI) effectively eliminates any other considerations. However, even if the stinginess of the Reel King does not cause you to contemplate revolt, you may be dissatisfied with the game’s simplicity.

The Reel King bonus round is entertaining in and of itself, but the game as a whole is a work of minimalist design.

The volatility isn’t very high, and the enjoyment factor is considerably lower than that. This one should be avoided.
