Review of The Wild Heist at Peacock Manor
Theme and plot of the story
A single viewing of Wild Heist as Peacock Manor may conjure up images of Hanna Barbera’s cartoon stylings, classic criminal fiction from the late 1800s (particularly the gentlemen thieves Raffles and Moriarty), and the much more modern phenomena of the comic heist film.
We follow a sly quartet of no-goods and recalcitrants as they seek to steal the golden peacock statue that grants the title to the manor home in which they find themselves.
They have to pick locks, avoid rozzers, and slip past steampunk-style security systems on their way to their destination.
Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.
Peacock Manor has been beautifully created in a genuinely great visual style for our enjoyment. A kind of children’s book watercolour and pen artwork that seems right for the time period and adds charm to the game.
Unluckily, like with many other Thunderkick games, the quality of the picture might be very poor, which detracts from the game’s natural beauty. When playing on a phone screen, this shouldn’t be a problem, but when playing on a large desktop screen, it might be a dealbreaker for certain gamers.
A similar nostalgic air pervades the soundtrack, which recalls the humorous stealth of films such as The Pink Panther and other comedic adventures of the same ilk.
The gameplay, on the other hand, is almost entirely devoid of character. This is a conventional five by three slot machine for the base game.
Because there are seventeen winning lines, all winnings are calculated in relation to the total amount wagered each spin rather than per line. The alternative would be to summon the difficulties of dividing and multiplying by seventeen, which would be counterproductive.
But it is the numerous types of Wild symbols that may be triggered at random during the regular game, as well as the bonus free spin game, which is meant to provide a new bonus each time you play (see below for more information) that make Wild Heist at Peacock Palace stand out.
Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.
The Wild symbol may be used to replace any other symbol with the exception of the Scatter symbol. In the course of the main game, exceptional Wilds might be triggered at random. It is possible to use this feature to create a single reel entirely Wild, to randomly add up to seven Wild symbols to the reels or to add a Walking Wild, which triggers a respin and then advances one place to the left after each spin. Repels for the Walking Wild continue until the Wild has been pushed off the reels.
The bonus round is triggered by the Scatter symbol, which appears on the reels. Hitting three offers you a shot at the bonus game, which you may play with up to three selections. You get an extra choice for every Scatter above three that you hit on the board.
In a rapid choosing game, in which a sequence of face-down cards are selected at random, the picks are put to use. Each card has the potential to provide you with more free spins (you begin with seven free spins), enhanced multipliers (you begin with a times one multiplier), and a variety of cards that may randomly award you with one of three random Wilds during any of your spins.
A re-pick feature may be enabled during the bonus round by landing two or more more Scatter symbols.
After the picking game is completed, the Free Spin bonus is triggered, and the player receives the amount of free spins, multipliers, and extra feature spins that they were awarded during the choosing game.
During the bonus game, all Wilds and multipliers that the player received during the choosing game have been added to the spins.
Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance
In this game, the return to player is 96.1 percent, which is extremely near to our own benchmark of around 96 percent for average return on investment. Wild Heist at Peacock Manor gets a thumbs up for its generosity, although it does not receive high marks for its generosity. At the very least, they aren’t trying too hard to steal your wallet.
There was a wide selection of bets available on the site we tested, ranging from a minimum wager per spin of $/£/€0.10 up to a maximum stake per spin of $/£/€100.00.
The volatility of this game is medium, which makes it a poor fit for our favored slot machine tactics, which choose slots with high volatility as their primary characteristic.
Despite the fact that Wild Heist at Peacock Manor offers a medium level of volatility and a definitely ordinary return to player, the game scores much higher than average in terms of aesthetics and playability.
The setting of Peacock Manor is well-designed and consistent, and the different Wilds and Bonus features make for a game that is both unique and entertaining to play through.
There’s a lot here to entice a gamer to join in on this spectacular crime.
