Review of the Greek god Zeus

Theme and plot of the story

Zeus, the Greek god of thunder and lightning, the son of Kronos the Titan, and the King of the Olympian Gods, is given a great deal of lead time in the scheduling of various events. However, it was this one that was awarded the trademark for the name “Zeus.”

Each of the reels is embellished with an assortment of ancient Greek artifacts. Bireme ships, silver drachmae imprinted with (ironically) the Owl of Athena, pots, and fringed helmets are all examples of Greek artifacts from the period. And of course, a fist grasping a bolt of lightning.

The concept is hinted at by a stylized acropolis at the top of the screen, while the remainder of the screen is a basic sky blue gradient, which suggests ethereal heights, and the reels themselves.

Graphics, sounds, and animations are all included.

The visuals are rather straightforward, and they have a little Microsoft Paint feel to them. As a consequence, it seems to be a remnant from the early to mid-2000s, with a somewhat antiquated appearance. Which, if you enjoy the look, isn’t always a negative aspect.

The noises aren’t very evocative, and instead of being personalized to the theme, they seem to be a typical set of spin and win sounds for WMS slots.

The animations are similarly basic, with flashing lines to indicate wins, and a basic animation for spins. As a whole, the front end of this slot is starting to show signs of wear and tear.

Gameplay

Zeus is a five reel, three row slot with up to thirty winlines. The player has the option of changing the number of winning lines in the game in increments of one all the way up to twenty-three. This allows for very fine-grained control over volatility and bet size.

There is just one bonus game (see below for more information), and there is no gamble function.

As a result, this slot contains just the bare essentials and nothing more.

Wilds, bonuses, and free spins are all included in this game.

The Wild symbol may be used to replace any other symbol with the exception of the Scatter symbol.

Although the Scatter symbol does not pay out, three or more of them anywhere on the reels will activate the Free Spins Feature. Three Scatters will provide the player with ten free spins, four Scatters will award the player with twenty-five spins, and five Scatters will award the player with one hundred spins.

During the Free Spins round, the reels are re-positioned, but the rewards stay same. Free Spins may be re-triggered by landing three or more Scatter symbols on the reels again, with extra spins being added to the player’s total if the Scatters appear again.

Bet sizes, return on investment (RTI), and variance

Approximately 96 percent is the return to player for this game, which is more or less precisely the same as our yardstick for average of 95.97 percent

There was a wide selection of bets available on the site we tested, ranging from a minimum wager per spin of $/£/€0.30 up to a maximum stake per spin of $/£/€150.00.

The volatility of this game is medium, which makes it a poor fit for our favorite slot machine methods, which we will discuss below. Our slot techniques are designed to provide the greatest amount of volatility feasible.

Conclusion

Once upon a time, Zeus was a fun slot to play. However, it appears to be a little shaky these days. Despite this, it continues to be quite popular. The art style is old fashioned, the animations and sound is paper-thin, and there are barely enough features to keep a modern player interested.

The return on investment (RTI) is acceptable – it is just around our projected average – but the medium volatility does not appeal to us.

When everything is taken into consideration, there are considerably more intriguing slots focused on this specific god to enjoy. Instead, give one of these options a shot.
